How to Connect in the Shadows!

Sign Up.

Search Shadow User by Dark Chat number.

Create a secret key and share it with your shadow friend. This key will unlock your private chat. (Use any characters you desire for the key).

You may save a Dark Chat number under any name you choose.

You can change chat theme from settings menu (found in chats).

You can search or create a group from the same settings menu.

To search, enter the group number.

When you create, share the group number so others can join.

To delete a contact, click the edit button, then delete in the pop-up.

Remember!

Closing the chat permanently deletes all chat data.

We do not store any of your messages on our servers.

All messages vanish after 10 seconds, ensuring your privacy.

Either side can change or remove the chat passkey — as long as they know it.

Group passwords can only be changed by the creator and cannot be deleted.

Group messages take 60 seconds to disappear.

Groups are deleted when the creator removes them from contacts.

If a normal member deletes the group, they just leave it.

Group messages disappear completely once all receivers read them.
